Eighteen months in the making, Seth Bernard’s epic new release, This Here has surfaced. He draws on the talent of many of Michigan’s finest, including Peter “Madcat” Ruth, Jeremy Kittel, Rachael Davis, and members of Steppin’ In It, Millish, Breathe Owl Breathe, and many others. This Here is a tremendous collaboration of Michigan artists, and a testament to Seth’s talents in songwriting, production and orchestration.

I must say, this album is definitely a step forward for Seth. He keeps what was always great about his music and experiments with new elements. Some of the tracks are reminiscent of early Floyd a la Obscured by Clouds. ( “Go Within,” “Where You Been?” ). MMMM electric guitar solos.
It’s nice to see other favs from live shows finally on an album ( “Overhaul,” “I’m You” ).
And with other experimental shenanigans like “Catfish Computer” you can’t go wrong. Can’t wait for part two…
